Body Painting is a spiritual experience. It is one of the oldest expression of arts on this planet. Tribes around the world have used bodypainting since the beginning of time for all ceremonies. Body painting is an exchange of giving and receiving unconditionally.

Yaari has body painted since the 60's. He also does “Art Release” workshops and seminars on body-painting worldwide, which is a form of art therapy to loosen up and gain a better sense of self-awareness.

Although Yaari’s body painting has been causing controversies in many places all over the world, he often donates his work through charity programs such as his own Art Quest program, Sydney Paralympic Games 2000, Tsunami fundraising 2004, Artists against AIDS worldwide, Grand Prix Australia, The Art of Living Coalition (Women's Day 2003), etc.

Do you know? Yaari was the first body painter to get a legal license to paint nude bodies publicly in Singapore – a restrictive country in South East Asia. The SPF (Singapore Police Force) and MDA (Media Development Authority) gave him a 1-day license, topless bodypainting in public and a 3- day extension to repeat the event “Forbidden Art”. This caused worldwide attention to the fact that bodypainting is an art form and can be appreciated as such. Yaari hopes that this trend will continue globally to bring people together.
